OUR MISSION
Our mission is to prepare preschool age children to enter Kindergarten confidently through experiences in music, movement, art, science, creativity, socializing and hands-on learning, while fostering self confidence and a love of learning.
WHAT WE TEACH & FOCUS ON
Our Amplify Preschool classes will focus on pre-k Skills. Our students will be learning letter & number recognition, shapes, colors, counting, letter sounds, writing skills (including names) and social skills (sharing, manners, taking turns, etc.).
We will use a theme based curriculum that offers a wide range of hands-on learning, science, arts & crafts projects, as well as music & movement activities. Students will also participate in class parties and field trips to include learning outside of the classroom.
MEET OUR TEACHERS
MICHELLE SMITH, DIRECTOR
Michelle comes to Amplify with a Bachelor’s degree from BYU and many years of experience teaching. She owned and operated Alphabet Train Preschool in Riverdale City, taught Physical Education at West Weber Elementary, and was a substitute teacher at Riverdale Elementary School. Over the past 10 years, she has helped instill the love of dance in many children at Energy Dance Co. Michelle has a passion for helping students gain a love of learning, while fostering self confidence in each child she encounters. She creates an atmosphere of safe, creative, fun learning, and is excited to partner with Amplify in offering local preschool classes to pre-k children in this amazing community.
TREASURE WANCZYK, INSTRUCTOR
Treasure is excited to join the Amplify team, bringing years of experience in teaching and caring for children. With five years as a substitute teacher and elementary school physical education instructor, she has cultivated a passion for fostering growth and development in young learners. In addition to her professional background, she has served her church community as a children’s music director and has years of experience teaching and mentoring children in various capacities. Her dedication to nurturing young minds is also reflected in her work as a devoted and trusted nanny for multiple families. Treasure will bring her energetic and positive attitude to Amplify Preschool, where she will provide a warm and supportive environment for your children to thrive.
